You know when you meet someone and you instantly feel a connection? Like they are your kind of people? That’s the way I felt last year when I listened to Kathy Cano-Murillo, The Crafty Chica speak at THE CREATIVE CONNECTION. And judging from the line of people waiting to speak to her afterwards, many others felt the same way.
She captivated everyone with her zest for life and warm personality. I knew right then that I could be her new best friend. 
The art she creates is all Kathy. It’s colorful, bold and full of energy! She LOVES glitter! We are so excited she’ll be teaching for us again this September. Wouldn’t you LOVE to take a class from Kathy? You can!

The Crafty Chica is so cool! I love her use of color and cultural icons! I’m also glad to see the growing popularity of online workshops. Not too long ago, we’d have to plan trips to specific cities at specific times to attend classes, difficult, if not impossible, if you’re on a budget.
Kathy is a woman after my own heart! I LOVE her use of color and her designs are absolutely gorgeous. Wish I could attend her class…maybe next year….
