Registration Closed. Knitting lace is not actually difficult, but it doesn’t hurt to learn some useful tools for reading charts, keeping track of your stitch count, knowing which row comes next, and repairing minor lace errors. We’ll also discuss, but hope we never need, making major repairs to lace knitting.

How to Read Charts — Intro to Lace
Students should bring to class:
One ball of smooth, light-colored sport or DK weight yarn (avoid navy or black) and needles (straight or circular) in a size appropriate for your yarn. Use needles one or two sizes larger than you would use for Stockinette St.
