Embroidered Embellishments for Knits
Students should bring to class:
Metal tapestry needle with a large eye and blunt tip, at least five colors of the same smooth, #4 (worsted weight) yarn used for swatch (odds and ends are fine), sharp scissors. Note about the yarn: choose colors that look pretty together, at least one of them should be a green based color.
Homework: Knit an 8 x 8 swatch in worsted weight yarn. Choose a color you like as it will be the basis for your decoration. Optional: Knit a second 4 x 4 Fair Isle Swatch (any pattern) in the same yarn.
