The Creative Connection

From an inspired jumble of textiles, papers, bits and trims, we'll build personal art quilts that celebrate our love of home (and birds). One stitch is all you need, though I will also teach a few fancier stitches to incorporate into the project. All skill levels are welcome, and if sewing is soooo not your thing, I have a nice work-around to share with you too, but this is a very good time to learn a simple stitch or two. Please bring a few materials that you would like to work into the piece such as vintage linens, lace, doilies, felts, buttons, trims, trinkets.

Students should bring to class: Pins, sewing needles and threads (including white embroidery floss), and scissors. Each student will receive a kit including patterns, foundation linen, vintage add-ons, and fabrics.
